Nome Preschool has two classes. The morning class is dedicated to four and five-year-old students. The afternoon class is geared towards three and four-year-old students.

Fees and Tuition

A $50 one-time materials fee will be collected upon acceptance.

4-year-old: $350/Month

3-year-old: $300/Month

Due the 1st of each month or the first business day of the month regardless of the number of days attended.

Curriculum

Nome Preschool utilizes a variety of curricula to create a unique learning experience for students while honoring each curriculum and allowing each curriculum to work as intended from the structured schedule to the materials chosen to best fit the classroom. Each child's developmental skills and needs are given challenging yet achievable learning situations. Nome Preschool provides a Montessori setup and nurtures each learner’s natural curiosity to learn by providing a positive learning environment.

    Nationally recognized for promoting health as an integral component of school readiness, Choosy Kids supports quality teaching and learning with uniquely designed resources featuring Choosy, an influential health hero and role model. In addition to creating unique educational resources for children, staff, and families, Choosy Kids is also well known for providing exemplary professional development training for ECE staff.

  • Zoo-phonics

    The Zoo-phonics® Multisensory Language Arts Program is a kinesthetic, multi-modal approach to learning all aspects of language arts, including vocabulary development and articulation, based on phonics and phonemic awareness.

  • EIE STEM Curricula

    Anyone, even young children, can engineer. Wee Engineer’s fun, engaging activities capture young childrens’ natural curiosity, while strengthening problem solving and critical thinking skills, starting at age 3. Hands-on challenges empower children to see themselves as problem solvers as they learn that there’s more than one way to solve a problem. Practicing social, emotional, fine motor, cognitive, and language skills prepares them for a strong start in school.

Enrollment Requirments

  • NPA is a state-licensed childcare facility. This requires documentation that children have immunizations for Di[theria/Tetnus/Pertussis, Polio, Measles/Mumps/Rubella, Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, Hib, and Varicella or evidence that the child is exempt from immunizations (health/religion) in accordance with 7 A CC 57.550.   • Students who are 4 before September 1st are eligible to enroll in the morning class.

    Students who are 3 before September 1st are eligible to enroll in our afternoon class.

  • Your child must be completely potty trained.

Once eligibility has been determined, a completed Nome Preschool registration form, permission form, child history, volunteer, and emergency contact form must be completed by the parent/guardian and returned to the manager before attendance.

Applications are date-stamped upon receipt and processed on a first-come, first-served basis.
